Saturday Matinee Broadcasts: The Met Opera

All Classical Portland is proud to share performances by the Metropolitan Opera, based in New York City, on the radio. Join us weekly on Saturdays at 10:00 AM PT (December through June) for a variety of productions performed by one of the country’s premiere opera companies.

Launched in 1931, the Metropolitan Opera’s Saturday Matinee broadcasts are the longest-running continuous classical music program in radio history. Learn more at metopera.org.

All Classical Portland’s Metropolitan Opera broadcasts are made possible by a gift from the Buckmaster Trust, honoring the life and legacy of Duane Buckmaster, who reveled in the magic of opera, and fly-fishing for the wily trout. Buck loved both in full measure.
